Customer Service Representative for Precision Cutz Lawn Care. A fast-paced, in-office role managing client communication โ calls, texts, emails, billing, scheduling, and turning new leads into scheduled customers.
We're a locally-owned lawn and landscape company serving Northwest Indianapolis for 10+ years. 150+ five-star reviews and a team that genuinely likes working here.
Our purpose is simple: to elevate lives. Our customers, our team, our community. We believe the work matters โ and so does who's doing it.
Our mission is to impact 5,000 people in central Indiana by 2028. The Customer Service Representative is often the very first voice a new customer hears โ and the difference between a lead that books and one that doesn't.
You'll spend your day on the phones, in the inbox, and in the CRM โ keeping clients happy and new leads moving toward a scheduled job.
Check overnight voicemails, texts, and emails. Handle anything urgent first, then work through the rest of the inbox before the phones really start ringing.
Call leads who haven't scheduled yet. Answer pricing questions, explain services, and get them booked before they call a competitor.
Handle the steady stream of calls and texts from current clients โ billing questions, schedule changes, service updates. This is the busiest stretch of the day.
Help clients take care of payments over the phone, and call past-due clients to get accounts caught up.
Update customer accounts and notes so nothing falls through the cracks. Flag anything urgent for tomorrow before you clock out.
Spring is when the phones really light up โ everyone wants to get started at once. Summer and fall stay steady. Winter brings snow-removal calls and next season's scheduling.
This role covers a lot of ground. Here's how the day breaks down โ and where you'll spend your time and attention.
Answer calls, texts, and emails from clients throughout the day. You're often the first โ and most frequent โ point of contact someone has with Precision Cutz.
Help clients take payments over the phone, and call on past-due accounts to keep collections on track.
Talk with new leads, walk them through pricing, and get their service set up. You turn interest into a scheduled job.
Stay on leads who haven't scheduled yet. A little persistence here is often the difference between a booked job and a lost one.
Keep every customer account organized and up to date โ notes, history, and status โ so anyone on the team can pick up where you left off.
Credentials matter, but character is what determines whether you'll thrive in this role. Here's what we look for.
Especially on the phone. You can explain pricing, answer questions, and put a nervous new lead at ease โ all in the same call.
You're juggling calls, texts, emails, and customer accounts at the same time, and nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
You're comfortable on a computer and can pick up new systems and software without much hand-holding.
Clients expect someone to pick up. You're the person who's there, every day, doing what you said you'd do.
You've done this before. Previous customer service experience is required โ this isn't an entry-level phone job.
