A Day In The Life

What your day looks like.

The faster and cleaner you finish, the more you earn โ€” and the sooner you go home. Here's the rhythm.

Morning

Roll Out From The Shop

Crew shows up, loads up, and rolls out together. Equipment is staged the night before โ€” you're not waiting on gear, fuel, or directions. The first stop is on the calendar.

On Route

Run The Route

Mow, edge, trim, blow. Every property gets the same standard โ€” clean stripes, sharp edges, no hidden corners. Crew leader keeps the pace and the quality dialed in.

Mid-Day

30 Min Lunch

Bring your lunch. Eat in the truck or on the next jobsite. The day moves fast on purpose โ€” that's how the 4-day week happens.

Afternoon

Finish Strong

Last properties of the day. Crew leader does the final QA pass, photos go to the office, route is closed out clean. We don't leave a property unless it's right.

End Of Day

Back To The Shop

Equipment cleaned, blades sharpened, fuel topped off, and a debrief on tomorrow's route.

Through The Year

Mow โ†’ Leaves โ†’ Snow

End of March through first week of November: mowing routes. Novemberโ€“December: leaf removal. Januaryโ€“February: snow. Same crew, year-round work, no off-season layoffs.

Two Paths On The Truck

Crew Member or Crew Leader.

Same truck, two roles. Both get paid for performance. Leaders get more responsibility โ€” and a daily bonus on top of their crew split. Here's how they break down.

Entry Path

Crew Member

The hands-on backbone of the crew. Runs equipment, holds the standard, keeps the pace. No experience required โ€” we'll train you the right way from day one.

  • Full-time, performance-based pay
  • Earn your share of the crew's P4P split
  • Operate mowers, edgers, blowers, trimmers
  • Maintain quality on every property
  • Work as part of a crew โ€” communicate clearly
  • Be ready to work outside in heat, cold, and rain
  • No driver's license required
  • No experience required โ€” we train
Leadership Path

Crew Leader

You run the truck. You set the pace. You're the customer-facing face of Precision Cutz on every property. Daily bonus on top of your P4P split โ€” you earn more because you carry more.

  • Everything a Crew Member does, plus:
  • Daily leadership bonus on top of P4P split
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Mobile phone with data required โ€” used to run the team app
  • Responsible for crew quality on every property
  • Responsible for crew efficiency and pace
  • Run the route, manage the schedule, close out the day
  • Customer-facing โ€” first point of contact on-site
  • Pre-trip vehicle and equipment checks
